Irish Traditional is best learned through listening. The printed music is only a guide to the basic notation of the tunes and the tunes transcribed here do not convey rhythm or ornamentation. This is most apparent in the playing of Hornpipes, Barndances and Highlands as I have transcribed them in equal measure quavers.
